Core Activities

• Knowledge of Safety, Security and HVAC systems, Engineering design experience.
• Study contract documents/tenders, mechanical plans and evaluate customer requirements and ability to do the Engineering reviews.
• Building Automation System engineering, architecture and network design.
• Project Documentation and handing over documentation preparation.
• Experience and understanding of AutoCAD, BIM and Revit modeling.
• Domain knowledge of Building Management System, Fire Alarm System, CCTV, Access Control and MEP engineering systems and Data Center design experience. (preferred).
• Excellent collaborative and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively with consultants and customers.
• Assess customer site for design requirements, Complete complex and integrated system designs with technical requirements.
• Support Sales and Planning team for the pre-engineering activities to achieve on-time BOQ design and delivery, zero or positive deviation, proactive technical issue prevention and suggest cost effective design solutions to the customer.
• Support as necessary for trouble free design deliverables.
• Assist sales and P&E team by innovative use of technology in establishing system design and supporting to win the order.
• Prepare submittals per engineering standards, ensuring commitment dates are met. Review submittals with sales and delivery teams and lead team to obtain submittal approval.
• Drive common best practice system designs and engineered solutions. Issue of Design submittal in accordance with project planning requirements.
• Coordinates with Vendor/ Supplier representatives on design, commissioning & HO requirements.
• Co-ordinate with Design Department for submission and approval of Drawings from consultant / client
• Systems Known: FAS, CCTV, Access Control System, PAS, BMS, Smart Parking Management Systems, with their integration requirements for IBMS systems.

Span of Control --
Your role will also include overseeing, supervising, and reviewing tasks performed by team members to ensure effective execution of work; managing end-to-end processes and projects for both internal and external clients with responsibility for timely and accurate delivery; issuing clear instructions and guidance to team members on assigned tasks; and mentoring and guiding junior colleagues to support their skill development, professional growth, and overall success.

Qualifications:

• 7-12 years or more of work experience in design environment, with extensive on-site knowledge
• Knowledge of FAS, CCTV, Access Control System, BMS, Pharma qualification, Data center systems, and networking systems. Previous experience working with highly complex technical solutions.
• Proven track record in a project design and engineering capacity involved in the delivery of technology-based projects
• Previous exposure to a site base, construction environment.
