Manager RAC General Industry

The Manager – Application Team is responsible for driving business growth in General Industry segments by leading the techno-commercial proposal function, developing application expertise, and managing a team of Application Engineers. The role combines technical leadership, commercial strategy, customer engagement, and people management.
Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the preparation and submission of competitive techno-commercial offers and conducting technical/commercial evaluations.
• Managing and mentoring Application Engineers while establishing a high-performance team culture.
• Developing and delivering technical and commercial training programs for dealers, distributors, and Branch Office teams.
• Supporting sales teams through application engineering, product selection, SAP/DMP processes, and proposal management.
• Building deep expertise in General industry segments
• Identifying market opportunities, analysing industry trends, and developing business growth strategies.
• Strengthening relationships with customers, consultants, OEMs, EPCs, and channel partners to expand market share and achieve revenue objectives.

Ideal candidate profile: A technically strong engineering professional with proven experience in application engineering, techno-commercial proposals, team leadership, channel development, and business development within industrial pump and process industries. Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, training capabilities, and strategic thinking are essential for success in this role.
