Associate QHSES Assurance Specialist

Job Overview:
The NDT Associate Assurance Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the NDT Management System. The role ensures compliance with ISO/IEC 17020 requirements, company procedures, client specifications, and applicable industry codes and standards. The position supports assurance activities related to NDT personnel qualifications, audits, surveillance programs, accreditation requirements, and quality performance monitoring.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Support implementation and maintenance of the NDT Management System in compliance with ISO/IEC 17020.
• Assist with preparation, review, revision, and control of NDT procedures, work instructions, and assurance documents.
• Monitor compliance of NDT personnel qualifications, certifications, vision tests, and training records.
• Coordinate internal audits, surveillance activities, cross-check programs, and corrective action follow-up.
• Maintain records of non-conformances, customer complaints, audit findings, and improvement actions.
• Assist in preparation for accreditation and certification audits by third-party bodies.
• Track KPI performance, quality trends, and process effectiveness indicators.
• Conduct assurance reviews of NDT reports, personnel certifications, and project compliance records.
• Support project mobilization reviews to verify personnel qualifications meet project requirements.
• Participate in root cause analysis and effectiveness reviews of corrective actions.
• Develop quality awareness and assurance training materials for NDT personnel.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable codes, standards, regulations, and emerging NDT technologies.

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• 2+ years NDT Level II inspection experience. and in addition, the quality assurance, surveillance, audit, or NDT coordination functions is preferrable
• Current ASNT/ACCP/PCN Level III certification with 2+ years relevant assurance or supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ASNT Level III, ACCP Level III, or PCN Level III certification in any NDT method
• Experience supporting accreditation audits (ISO/IEC 17020)
• Experience in EPC fabrication yard, offshore construction, or energy projects
