As a Lens Surfacing Operator, you will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring the highest quality standards for optical lenses. Your responsibilities will include operating and maintaining surfacing equipment, such as generators, polishers, and lens inspection machines. Attention to detail and a consistent focus on quality are essential for this role.
SHIFT PATTERN:
12PM-8.30PM, Monday to Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate and maintain surfacing equipment, including generators, polishers, and lens inspection machines.
• Produce optical lenses that meet exacting standards and specifications.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure lenses meet quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimise production processes.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous.
• Ability to operate and maintain precision equipment.
