Manager, Total Rewards & HR Shared Services

About the Role

Lead the India Total Rewards and HR Shared Services function by designing and executing compensation and benefits programs, delivering efficient HR operations, and ensuring an exceptional employee experience. Partner with global Centres of Excellence (COEs), HR Business Partners, Finance, and business leaders to drive reward strategies, operational excellence, compliance, and people processes.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design, implementation, and governance of benefit programs for the India employee population, ensuring market competitiveness and alignment with global reward philosophy.
• Oversee benefits strategy, vendor management, policy design, and annual renewals while driving employee awareness and utilization of benefit programs.
• Manage annual and mid-year compensation review cycles, including promotions, bonuses, and market adjustments in partnership with business leaders HRBPs and finance.
• Participate in compensation benchmarking and market analysis to support hiring, retention, and internal equity decisions.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to provide compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfers, short term assignments and organizational changes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements related to compensation and employee benefits.
• Lead end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle management, payroll governance, HR documentation, and compliance with local labour regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and service delivery by establishing service standards, SLAs, and operational metrics.
• Develop and maintain HR policies, SOPs, governance frameworks, and process

documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.

• Optimize HR technology platforms and workflows to improve efficiency, data quality, and employee experience.
• Ensure integrity of HR data across systems.
• Monitor and analyse key HR metrics including headcount, attrition, hiring, compensation, span of control, and employee experience to support business decision-making.
• Partner with global HR COEs on HRIS enhancements, process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support workforce planning, budgeting, and organizational changes through robust people analytics and reporting.

Who You Are

• Lead and support enterprise HR initiatives, policy implementations, and transformation projects that improve operational effectiveness and employee experience.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex employee relations and operational matters, partnering with Legal, HR Business Partners, and global stakeholders as required.
• Lead the resolution of complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, performance management, grievances, workplace investigations, and policy interpretation, partnering with Legal and global HR as required.
• Support organizational change initiatives, restructures, workforce transitions, and business transformations by managing employee-related risks and ensuring a positive employee experience
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing HR Shared Services and Total Rewards team.
• Provide strategic guidance to managers and HR Business Partners on Compensations and benefits, Statutory and employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
