Join our Sustainable Water Management and Asset Consultancy teams in 2027. You’ll help clients assess water asset performance and long-term value, plan for future needs, improve water use and reuse, and manage financial, commercial and environmental risks. Your work could span flood risk, water resources, hydrology, modelling, drainage, water quality, catchment management and environmental assessment.

A little bit more about your role and the team…
As a graduate in our Sustainable Water Management and Asset Consultancy teams, you’ll draw on WSP’s global expertise to support projects across flood risk, water resources, catchments, drainage, water quality, rivers and coasts. You’ll use asset data and evidence to help clients understand performance and long-term value, plan for future needs and investment, improve water use and reuse, manage extraction and discharge, and balance financial, commercial and environmental priorities to strengthen resilience, reduce whole-life costs and deliver lasting value.

What we’re looking for

You’ll have, or be on track for, at least a 2:2 in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree.Check eligible degree backgrounds on our Graduate Website: Water graduate opportunities | WSP

You’ll be available to start in April or September 2027.

You’ll be interested in sustainable water management, from flood risk and drainage to water resources, quality, use and reuse.

Our Graduate Development Programme
Our two-year Graduate Development Programme is designed to help you build the skills, experience and professional network needed to thrive at the start of your career with us. Through a blend of structured learning, mentoring and hands-on project experience, you will be supported every step of the way.

If successful at this stage, you will be invited to complete an online assessment, containing a Cognitive Assessment, personality questionnaire and Situational Judgement Test (SJT). All stages are essential parts of our early careers’ recruitment process.
