Revionics is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test code frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. In this role, you will transition from traditional testing to AI-native Quality Engineering, leveraging cutting-edge AI assistants, self-healing frameworks, and LLMs to accelerate test creation, eliminate maintenance debt, and drive continuous delivery.
The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, create comprehensive test plans, and implement automated testing solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of cutting-edge projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test code frameworks using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Utilize advanced LLMs like Claude and ChatGPT to rapidly brainstorm edge cases, generate comprehensive test data, and draft structured automated test scripts.
• Integrate automated tests and update continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable frequent and reliable software releases.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and define test scenarios.
• Create detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases to cover all aspects of software functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects, regressions, and performance issues.
• Document defects found during testing, including steps to reproduce, and expected vs. actual results.
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain and enhance the test automation framework to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing and test automation.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies as part of a cross-functional development team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python with at least 1 year of experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation.
• Experience in maintaining and building Continuous Integration pipelines with tools such as GitLab or Jenkins
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver etc.
• Hands-on or project-based exposure to AI-assisted testing tools, self-healing frameworks, or LLM-based applications.
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, agile environment.
