Industrial Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

Industrialization & Manufacturing Readiness

• Lead industrialization of new products (assembly, molding, stamping, electronics, automation).
• Ensure manufacturability through DFM/DFA reviews with the Design Office.
• Define and optimize manufacturing processes, layouts, instructions, and standards.
• Support prototype builds, pilot runs, and production ramp up.

Equipment & Fixture

• Define equipment and fixture specifications based on project needs.
• Manage RFQ with Purchasing.
• Lead supplier development including design review, FAT, SAT, and process qualification.

Project Management & Cross-Functional Leadership

• Drive all industrial workstreams across R&D, INDUS, LAB, PMO, Quality, Purchasing, Marketing, and Plant teams.
• Lead Industrial BOM creation and updates (structure, routing, cost).
• Manage risks and actions through DFMEA/PFMEA involvement.
• Drive VSM and continuous improvement for flow, efficiency, and cost.

Production Support & Improvement

• Support plant readiness and ensure smooth production start up.
• Lead productivity, quality, and cost reduction initiatives (Lean, Poka-Yoke, automation opportunities).

Required Skills & Experience
Technical Background

• Strong experience of above 10 years in industrialization, methods, or process engineering.
• Knowledge of:

o Assembly processes
o Injection molding / stamping
o Electronics & automation
o Equipment qualification (FAT/SAT)
o Flow Chart, DFMEA / PFMEA, Control plan etc
o Lean manufacturing
o Industrial BOM & costing
Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and communication.
• Ability to work in complex organizations and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Solid project management capability.
• Problem-solving mindset and hands-on attitude.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Fluent English required.

Additional Information

• Occasional travel to suppliers and production sites.
• Strategic role requiring autonomy, leadership, and strong technical expertise.
