Senior Specialist – Digital Insurance

Lead the assessment, development and delivery of customer-focused digital insurance propositions.

Own product prioritization, proposition design, business requirements, customer journeys and launch-readiness recommendations.

Identify, evaluate and manage relationships with insurers, technology providers and other relevant partners.

Lead commercial negotiations covering product terms, commissions, service levels and partner responsibilities within approved authority limits.

Own business performance across customer acquisition, conversion, revenue, retention, service quality and partner delivery.

Establish effective operating processes covering sales, policy servicing, complaints, renewals, cancellations and claims coordination.

Ensure activities comply with applicable insurance regulations, internal policies, customer-protection requirements and approved operating controls.

Maintain clear accountability between distribution activities and insurer-retained responsibilities, including underwriting, pricing, reserving and claims liability.

Coordinate delivery across Legal, Compliance, Risk, Technology, Finance, Operations, Marketing and Customer Care.

Identify and escalate regulatory, operational, commercial and customer risks, with authority to pause activities where material control gaps exist.

Prepare management reporting, business cases and decision papers, and recommend corrective actions where performance or delivery falls below expectations.

Act as the principal business owner for day-to-day decisions within the approved strategy, budget, delegated authority and governance framework.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, Law or another relevant discipline.
• Recognized insurance professional qualification at certificate level or above, such as Cert CII, Insurance Institute Licentiate, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
