Information System Engineer 1 (Commerce IT)

Full Time| Sunday- Wednesday| 4/10 Schedule| 12:00A-10:00AM| 100% Onsite| Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position.
Job Purpose or Objective(s): ​Assists in administration of compute and storage systems and recommends improvements necessary to ensure operation of Choctaw Nation systems. You will report to the Information Systems Manager.
Primary Tasks:

• You will maintain Windows Active Directory environments.
• Maintain fileserver permissions to meet our requirements.
• Help administer enterprise storage environments, including enterprise storage arrays, fiber channel switches and Network Attached Storage (NAS).
• Help administer enterprise compute environments, including virtualization hardware, physical servers, and hosted systems.
• You will help assure reliable and stable data storage management, security, backup, restoration, archiving and replication.
• Assure systems performance and stability.
• Assure system security.
• Administer and improve server OS, including Windows Server 2008, 2012+, and Redhat Linux.
• Help maintain enterprise-wide VMware environments.
• Apply company procedures to resolve routine issues.
• Analyze situational data to resolve issues or follow escalation chain.
• You will communicate with other IT teams to resolve customer issues.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in computer science or related field or relevant IT certification or 2 years related experience.
• Customer service skills
• Perform complex tasks.
• Knowledge of managing and troubleshooting system infrastructure based on best practices.
• Server operating system and active directory troubleshooting knowledge.
• Must be comfortable working in an accountable and maintain flexible working hours.
• Two years' experience supporting IT systems.
