This role oversees the full receiving process, from verifying shipments to coordinating with cross-functional teams, while driving productivity, safety, and team performance within the inbound area.</p>

<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Supervise and lead a team of inbound operators, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure efficient and accurate receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming goods and materials.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Oversee the receiving process for incoming shipments, including verifying quantities, inspecting items for damage or discrepancies, and recording information accurately in inventory systems.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Operations, to prioritize receiving activities, resolve discrepancies, and process returns in a timely manner.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring equitable distribution of workload and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Train new team members on inbound processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills required to perform their duties effectively.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Monitor workflow and productivity levels within the inbound area, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing measures to optimize performance and efficiency.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Conduct regular inspections of inbound areas and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, cleanliness, and organization, and addressing any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations to team members, recognizing achievements, addressing performance issues, and identifying opportunities for development and growth.</li>

<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Strong knowledge of inbound receiving processes, including receiving, inspection, and inventory management, preferably in a fast-paced distribution or fulfillment center environment.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, management, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently; certification or training in equipment operation is a plus.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools for inventory management and reporting.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to support operational needs. </li>
