About The Role
- Participate in the planning and formulation of design alternatives and solutions for the construction project.
- Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the
scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
- Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross
project initiatives.
- Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business
goals/objectives.
- Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the
department.
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.
- Communicate with the Client’s representatives continuously regarding Project Progress and areas of
concerns.
- Develop and administer project budgets and fiscal controls, contracts, and quality control provisions.
- Direct work sequencing to expedite projects delivery and to minimize disruption of ongoing operations.
- Ensure that projects operations are in compliance with design specifications and with client requirements.
- Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals
and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while
employed by Hill.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
- Bachelor degree in engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum 20 years’ experience in managing large-scale infrastructure programs consist of multiple projects.
- Experience of major government and/or semi-government program and projects implementations.
- Extensive Experience in the construction management of water and wastewater works.
- Experience of implementing a zero accident philosophy.
- A record of engagement with government entities / utility providers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience of working internationally.
