Snr Product Integration Engineer - Barfab

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Investigate, DOE, and experiment on bar fab processes to optimize yield and quality of processes.
• Manage or knowledge of saw process for scribe/cleave, stacking, wafer saw, and integration of bar fab modules used in facet coating technology.
• Characterize the process output including across spacer and within spacer uniformity using profilometer, confocal microscope, and SEM and other FA techniques when needed.
• Create and manage process flows, MES/Camstar WIP tracking, manage process traveler instructions and Agile change control.
• Summarize results and present status in monthly or weekly meetings.
• Track Cpks and SPC parameters and retrain and enforce process and module procedures.

Education & Experience

• Prefer Minimum 5 yr. experience - BS/MS Engineering or equivalent degree.
• Knowledge of opto-electronics packaging design and related materials and processes.
• Hands-on experience with various assembly equipment and processes, such as epoxy/eutectic attach, wire bonding, optical alignment, and mechanical assembly.
• Knowledgeable in the use of UV epoxies specifically for optical alignment processes.
• Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills.
• Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
• Able to work independently as an individual contributor and also in a team setting.
