TITLE: Communications Specialist
EXEMPT STATUS: Non-Exempt, Full Time (benefits + perks)
RATE OF PAY: $18 -20 per hour, depending on experience
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 6:45AM - 2PM

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Communication Specialist:

• Serve as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and staff by providing exceptional customer service and directing inquiries appropriately.
• Manage front desk operations, including phone systems, visitor traffic, deliveries, packages, and resident communication records.
• Monitor emergency response systems, fire panels, call systems, and security alerts; coordinate responses with appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and administrative documentation while providing clerical support to multiple departments.
• Ensure reliable attendance, punctuality, and flexibility in scheduling to support continuous front desk operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School or GED
• Receptionist or office administrator experience required.
• Must be able to multi-task efficiently.
• MS Office experience required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to speak conversational English to communicate with residents, visitors, family members, supervisor and co-workers.
