About The Role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Business Engagement & IT Business Liaison
  • Act as the primary IT liaison for integration-related matters across all business and application domains
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand integration needs, system dependencies, and data exchange requirements
  • Ensure integration solutions align with business processes and operational needs
  • Provide advisory on integration approaches, data exchange mechanisms, and solution options
  • Ensure effective coordination between application teams, infrastructure teams, and external partners
  1. Integration and Data Flow Enablement
  • Ensure integration solutions effectively support data exchange between systems across the enterprise
  • Maintain visibility of system interactions, data flows, and integration dependencies
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or risks in integration design and data exchange processes
  • Ensure integration-related decisions consider data integrity, system performance, and operational impact
  1. Application Integration & Data Exchange Domain Management
  • Manage and oversee integration platforms, middleware, and data exchange mechanisms
  • Ensure integrations are stable, secure, and capable of supporting operational and business requirements
  • Maintain oversight of system interfaces, integration dependencies, and data flows
  • Ensure integration configurations and connectivity align with enterprise architecture and standards
  • Ensure the domain is managed in a structured, controlled, and scalable manner
  1. Application Integration & Data Exchange System Coverage

Coordinate and support integration and data exchange capabilities including but not limited to:

  • Middleware and Messaging Platforms – supporting system-to-system communication, message queues, and event-driven integration
  • API and Interface Services – supporting API-based integrations and system connectivity across platforms
  • Data Exchange Mechanisms – supporting batch and real-time data transfer between internal and external systems
  • Integration with External Platforms – supporting connectivity with third-party systems, partners, and external service providers
  • Ensure integration capabilities are reliable, secure, and capable of supporting enterprise-wide data exchange and system interaction.
  1. Business Requirements, Solution Coordination, and Change Delivery
  • Oversee and support the gathering, validation, and prioritisation of integration requirements
  • Ensure requirements are translated into integration solutions, configurations, or enhancements
  • Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to define integration needs and expected outcomes
  • Review proposed changes to ensure alignment with system dependencies and data flow requirements
  • Ensure changes are delivered in alignment with business and operational priorities
  1. System Implementation, Testing, and Operational Readiness
  • Participate in implementation and enhancement of integration solutions
  • Provide domain expertise during solution design, testing, and rollout activities
  • Oversee testing to ensure integration scenarios and data flows are adequately validated
  • Ensure integration solutions are operationally ready prior to deployment
  • Ensure minimal disruption to system connectivity during changes
  1. Incident Management and Service Continuity
  • Oversee investigation and resolution of incidents affecting system integrations and data exchange
  • Ensure incidents are prioritised based on system impact and data flow disruption
  • Coordinate cross-functional troubleshooting involving multiple systems and platforms
  • Ensure rapid escalation and resolution of critical integration issues
  • Ensure stakeholders are informed of incident status and resolution progress
  1. Continuous Improvement and Integration Enhancement
  • Identify opportunities to improve integration reliability, performance, and scalability
  • Drive improvements in data exchange processes and system connectivity
  • Support initiatives that enhance real-time integration capabilities and data availability
  • Contribute to development of integration standards and best practices
  1. Governance, Compliance, and Control
  • Ensure integration solutions comply with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure data exchange mechanisms maintain appropriate controls, traceability, and audit readiness
  • Maintain documentation and records required for governance and compliance
  • Ensure proper change management and approval processes are followed
  1. Vendor and Partner Management
  • Manage relationships with vendors supporting integration platforms and middleware solutions
  • Coordinate vendor activities related to issue resolution, enhancements, and system upgrades
  • Ensure vendor deliverables align with integration requirements and standards
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely response and resolution
  • Escalate vendor-related issues where necessary
  1. Team Leadership and Capability Development
  • Lead and guide team members supporting integration and data exchange capabilities
  • Provide direction on priorities, incident handling, and stakeholder engagement
  • Promote knowledge sharing and strengthen team capability in integration technologies
  • Identify skill gaps and support development initiatives
  • Ensure effective team coordination and operational continuity
  1. Documentation and Knowledge Management
  • Ensure documentation of integration configurations, interfaces, data flows, and operational procedures is maintained
  • Ensure documentation supports troubleshooting, system continuity, and audit requirements
  • Maintain records of system changes, incidents, and key decisions
  • Promote structured documentation practices
  1. Cross-Functional and Enterprise Coordination
  • Collaborate with Application Domains, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Data Teams, and PMO
  • Collaborate with IT Strategy, Innovation & Emerging Tech teams to enable integration, data exchange, and system connectivity for new technology solutions across the enterprise
  • Ensure dependencies between systems and integration points are managed effectively
  • Support enterprise initiatives involving integration and data exchange
  • Participate in coordinated problem-solving across domains

Technical

  • Strong understanding of integration platforms, middleware, APIs, and data exchange mechanisms

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related discipline

Experience – Manager

  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in integration, middleware, or enterprise application environments
  • Experience supporting or managing system integrations, APIs, or data exchange platforms
  • Experience coordinating system changes, enhancements, and operational support
  • Ability to understand system dependencies and integration requirements
  • Experience working with stakeholders and vendors
  • Exposure to enterprise systems and data exchange environments

Experience – Senior Manager

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience in integration, middleware, or enterprise application environments
  • Strong experience managing enterprise integration platforms and data exchange solutions
  • Proven ability to lead integration initiatives across multiple systems and domains
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory experience
  • Experience managing vendors and complex integration environments
  • Experience leading teams and domain-level responsibilities
