About The Role

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cabin Crew Welfare, Safety & Performance Management:
  • Oversee the welfare, safety, conduct, performance, and discipline of Senior Officer Cabin Crew and Cabin Crew, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and established performance standards.
  • Crew Performance Monitoring:
  • Conduct and manage Crew Performance En-route Monitoring (CPEM) for Senior Officers and
  • Cabin Inspectors on a six-monthly basis, ensuring performance standards are consistently
  • monitored, documented, and addressed where required.
  • Training & Competency Management:
  • Manage cabin crew induction, recurrent, and ongoing training programmes, including instructor-led sessions, and monitor training compliance in coordination with Executive Training Planning and relevant department.
  • Cabin Crew Records & Information Management:
  • Maintain, develop, and continuously improve Cabin Crew Management IT systems and digital records, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, accessibility, and timely updating of crew information, performance records, and related documentation.
  • Performance & Conduct Administration:
  • Monitor cabin crew conduct, performance, compliance, and merit/demerit records, ensuring appropriate follow-up and timely resolution of performance or disciplinary matters.
  • Operational Planning & Manpower Coordination:
  • Support operational planning, manpower allocation, crew logistics, and resource requirements for Cabin Crew Management, including duty travel, accommodation, transportation, HOTAC, RISTA creation/approval, and company events.
  • End-of-Contract & Performance Evaluation:
  • Oversee end-of-contract evaluations by coordinating the compilation and validation of relevant performance data, including merits, demerits, CPA, and other applicable records, and ensure timely submission to the EOC team in accordance with established timelines.
  • Operational Issue & Safety Management:
  • Monitor, track, and coordinate the resolution of cabin crew operational issues and reports, including matters received through the e-Voyage Reporting System, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Corporate & Event Coordination:
  • Coordinate cabin crew participation and operational requirements for corporate, festive, and other company events, ensuring appropriate manpower and logistical arrangements.
  • Management Governance & Secretariat:
  • Act as Secretary for Cabin Crew Management meetings, overseeing the preparation, dissemination, recording, and follow-up of meeting minutes, decisions, and action items.
  • Committee & Cross-Functional Representation:
  • When needed, represent Cabin Crew Management in internal committees, cross-functional forums, safety reviews, and other organizational activities, providing relevant operational input and coordinating follow-up actions.
  • Stakeholder & Inter-Departmental Collaboration:
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within Cabin Crew Management and across departments to facilitate operational coordination, timely issue resolution, and the effective delivery of cabin crew management functions.
  • Management Support & Continuous Improvement:
  • Support the Manager, Cabin Crew in the execution of departmental priorities, operational initiatives, process improvements, and other duties or responsibilities assigned to ensure the effective delivery of Cabin Crew Management objectives.

AUTHORITY

  • Support Cabin Crew Manager in the preparation of budget proposals, monitoring of budget utilisation, and related administrative requirements.
  • Conduct Crew Performance En-route Monitoring (CPEM) for Senior Officer Cabin Crew, Cabin Inspectors, and Cabin Crew to ensure compliance with established performance, safety, and service standards.

DELEGATION OF DUTIES

  • Administrative & Operational Alternate:
  • Senior Officer Cabin Crew or Cabin Inspector is the alternate for Executive Cabin Crew Management duty and in the absence of Executive Cabin Crew Management, Senior Officer Cabin Crew or Cabin
  • Inspector would accept full duties and responsibilities of Executive Cabin Crew Management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educational & Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia.
  • Degree in any field with a minimum of 3 year of working experience in Aviation Industry; or
  • Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of working experience in Aviation Industry; or
  • Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) or Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a minimum of 8 years
  • of experience as a Cabin Crew.
  • Experience as a Senior Officer Cabin Crew or Cabin Inspector for 3 years or more
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Must be knowledgeable in cabin crew matters.
  • Possess good knowledge, skills and working experience of airline industry;
  • Possess strong, visible and supportive management and leadership skills;
  • Good command of the English language;
  • Must be knowledgeable of cabin safety, rules and regulations and Cabin crew matter.
  • Knowledgeable and subject matter expert in Cabin Crew Policy Manual, Cabin Safety, Rules and regulation
