Surgical Technician - OR

** This is a 10 hour varied shift position
Provides direct care to surgical patients by a thorough knowledge of medical -
surgical asepsis. The surgical technician implements and plans
equipment/instruments for patient care procedures.
Position Qualifications:

A. Education/Training: High School graduate or equivalent Ability to read, write and communicate in English Successful completion of an accredited surgical technician program.
B. Experience: One year prior operating room experience preferred.
C. Licensure, Registration or Certification: BLS certification required. If hired after July 1, 2008, a Surgical Technician Certification or eligibility for certification within 1 year of hire is required.
