Role Summary:
Video and still models
As part of the investment in our digital assets, Student Living are looking for Student Models who are fluent in Mandarin, to appear in photographs and video showcasing the University of Birmingham’s accommodation to students who are applying from China.
Working with the Student Living team and Creative Media photographers and videographers, you’ll present an up-to-date, authentic and positive view of University life for Chinese applicants. Taking place in a week in early November, we’ll interview you about the benefits of living in accommodation and capture you enjoying different spaces and activities to give a real taste of what it’s like to live in our accommodation, highlighting 24/7 staffing, security and how close the accommodation is to your place of study.
Main Responsibilities:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and articulate student, who is fluent in Mandarin to feature in our marketing photography and to talk to camera about living in University of Birmingham accommodation.
Person Specification:
We need UoB students who tick at least one of these boxes:
-
You live or have lived in University accommodation
-
You have travelled to UoB from China to study
-
You have used the ResLife services. For example you have attended a ResLife event or have taken part in the Active Residence Sports activities

You are fluent in Mandarin
-
Having first-hand experience of Uob Food Wallet/ Student Living + is desirable

No previous modelling experience is necessary but do let us know if you have worked as a model before, or if you’re an experienced blogger or vlogger or have a large social media following.
