About The Role
Job Summary
The HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department while serving as the first point of contact for employees, applicants, and visitors. This role supports HR information systems, maintains accurate personnel records, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and university policies. The HR Assistant also delivers clerical support and contributes to a welcoming, efficient front office environment.

- Knowledge of ETSU policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED plus three (3) years of clerical office experience,
OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience (relevant part-time, student worker, graduate assistant experience may be considered).

- Market Range - 4 Salary Schedules
