About The Role
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Vice President of Special Projects is a trusted advisor and hands-on project leader who drives innovation, organizational change, and strategic growth across Pike Corporation and its subsidiaries. You will take the CEO's most complex and high-priority initiatives from concept to completion while proactively identifying and leading the internal improvements that help Pike scale.
Success in this role means partnering seamlessly with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, building trust across every level of the organization, and using a collaborative, inclusive approach to improve how we work and how we grow.
Essential Functions:

Lead complex, high-visibility projects assigned by the CEO, owning them end to end from strategy through execution and results.

Research, launch, and manage internal initiatives and change strategies that strengthen operations and fuel growth across Pike and its subsidiaries.

Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, using team-building, collaborative, and inclusive methods to move work forward.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.

Provide clear, proactive progress updates and overall project status on a weekly basis.

Track and analyze emerging industry trends shaping workforce development and business operations, and translate them into action.

Balance and adapt across a variety of concurrent projects and priorities.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree in engineering, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field — or equivalent experience.

10+ years of related experience in the utility or contractor sector.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with employees and customers at every level.

Strong analytical skills and a sharp attention to detail.

Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
