Underwriting Assistant - Temporary

About The Role
- Data processing and manipulation within underwriting tools.
- Assist with, data analysis and other quantitative exercises which inform the portfolio management process whilst assisting in maintaining internal exposure monitoring systems.
- Ability to learn and understand complex coverage and contract language.
- Assist the underwriters with maintaining underwriting files and support with contract documentation.
- Compilation of underwriting referral documents and note taking.
- Attend client and broker underwriting meetings where requested.
- Preparation of presentations and report running.
- Assist in the development, testing and maintenance of in-house software applications.
- Adhere to operational standards of the department set by underwriting guidelines and authorities.
- Carry out claims capture and reporting duties.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
