Business Intelligence Analyst

Main purpose of role

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that support client-facing strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. This role ensures accurate client-facing analytics, maintains analytical tools, and drives data-driven improvements across client and internal initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with program management office to ensure the accurate and timely production of monthly, quarterly, and annual client reports.
• -
• Complete complex ad-hoc reports to support client requests.
• -
• Learn and apply effective use of Vendor Management Systems (VMS) such as Fieldglass, Beeline, VNDLY, and Coupa, including report preparation and data utilization.
• -
• Analyze data from multiple sources to deliver meaningful insights, recommendations, and conclusions that drive client’s business decisions.
• -
• Maintain and update team tools and documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy of information.
• -
• Stay informed on industry trends and customer benchmarks to provide relevant analysis on a quarterly basis within assigned verticals.
• -
• Design and enhance client-facing Power BI dashboards using API integrations to improve data visualization and accessibility.
• -
• Manage and update client-facing Microsoft Power Pages to ensure current and accurate content.
• -
• Design and implement automation for client production reports and related workflows to reduce manual effort.

Educational Requirements

• -
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics or Mathematics

Experience

• -
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or market research roles.
• -
• Proven hands-on experience with Power BI and SQL for data visualization and querying.
• -
• Familiarity with data warehouse technologies, data modeling concepts, and working with diverse data sources and APIs.
• -
• Preferred - At least 2 years of experience working with relational and multidimensional database schemas, including writing complex queries.
