Parking Attendant- Parking and Duquesne University Card Center

Salary: $19.75 per hour Location: Parking Services Position Status: Full time (40 hours per week) Hours: Varied Position Number: 655402/40-268 FLSA Status: Non-exempt POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible position within Parking Services. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides directions and assistance for students, parents, faculty, and staff, as well as visitors to the campus. Helps locate buildings and offices; serves as initial contact person with the general public. May serve in variety of functions from valet parking to directing traffic flow for special events. Provides assistance to the campus police officers, and while not directly related in the chain of command, will take orders from the campus police in emergency situations or when assigned by the Associate Director of Parking DU Card Services. Completes other duties as assigned.
