Health Care Management Nurse III

This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Health Care Management III - Y15C Annual salary: $69,197.34 + Full state benefits Travel is EXTENSIVE - Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance Minimum Qualifications Health Care Management Nurse, Level III - Requirements consist of possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and six (6) years of professional nursing experience, including three (3) years in a managed care or home health care program. Job Responsibilities: Under the general supervision of the Nursing Programs Administrator, this Registered Nurse serves as a Health Services Consultant Specialist, providing consultative services and medical safety assessments for children with special health care needs during open child welfare cases The position serves as a clinical resource to child welfare staff through consultation, training, assessment, direction, and coaching. Identifies and coordinates appropriate health care resources. Participates in the development of plans of care so that the child's needs are best met. May also participate in court as a representative of DHS/CW as needed. Preference Statement Preference may be given to nurses with experience in Community Health Nursing; Pediatrics/Behavioral-Psych Pediatrics; Forensics/SANE; Note: 3 years in a managed care of home health care program is not required for CW RNs.
