Senior Business Systems Applications Engineer

Take ownership of critical enterprise platforms and elevate seamless technical solutions as a Senior Business Systems Applications Engineer.
Business Systems Solutions drives the integration, health and evolution of 3rd party and enterprise applications across on-premise, SaaS and cloud environments. The function delivers scalable tools that streamline internal operations and support high-volume global technology operations.
This role focuses on leading technical application support, system implementations and root-cause analysis across sophisticated business platforms. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external software vendors to optimise system architecture, champion best practice and mentor colleagues.

• Strong background supporting and integrating SaaS and cloud-hosted enterprise applications
• Proven track record in diagnosing, evaluating and resolving complex architectural and system issues
• Expertise in software vendor management and 3rd party tool implementations
• Sound understanding of enterprise system architecture, lifecycles and integration patterns
• Confidence in managing multiple project priorities and high-impact deliverables independently
• Skilled in building collaborative relationships with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders
• Lead the delivery, configuration and ongoing maintenance of core business applications across cloud and SaaS environments
• Conduct advanced root-cause analysis to diagnose and resolve complex technical incidents across the enterprise stack
• Partner with external software vendors and internal engineering teams to deploy seamless upgrades and enhancements
• Evaluate existing system architecture to identify performance improvements, automation opportunities and scalability gains
• Guide and mentor junior colleagues in incident handling, system support techniques and technical standards
• Collaborate with business stakeholders across various departments to align application performance with operational requirements
• Utilising AI to provide solutions and suggest improvements
