Responsibilities:

Mix and serve a wide range of classic and craft cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages

Provide outstanding guest service by creating a warm, welcoming, and engaging bar atmosphere

Uphold Max Downtown’s standards of presentation, portion control, and consistency

Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area at all times

Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly

Verify identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state regulations

Collaborate with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service

Stay up to date with seasonal menus, beverage offerings, and ongoing training initiatives

QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in fine dining is REQUIRED

Alternatively, 2+ years in a high-volume casual dining environment will be considered

Strong working knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and spirits

TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred

Skills and Qualities:

Highly organized with a polished and professional demeanor

Exceptional multitasking and time management abilities

Ability to maintain composure and efficiency during high-volume service

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to service excellence

Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
