Primary Job Functions
Recruitment Duties
- Assist with CVs screening and reply to all candidates
- Assist in hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and company policies and standards.
- Assist in organizing the session called “First Encounter” and other interviews
General Activities
- Prepare Weekly Commitment to Quality
- Create and maintain new hire and personnel files and enter them into Human Resources Information Systems
- Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files
- Update Birthdays list, organizing cards and presents
- Prepare materials for Orientations for new hired
- Inform Human Resources management of issues related to employee relations within the property
- Assist in other special HR Projects, such as Cross Training Calendar, Monthly team building activities, Grooming Standards, Standard Operating Procedures and Medical Examinations.
- Create flyers and PPT to promote all HR new activities
- Train new hires on Human Resources processes, programs, policies, information systems, etc.
- Follow all company policies and procedures;
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
- Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Administration Duties
- Handle casual workers communications to Italian Government
- Keep HR files updated through an adequate filing system
- Keep track of badges, pins, keys and lockers, which are given out to staff
- Assist in finalizing fire and first aid trainings
Essential Skills
- Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when taking care of various activities at the same time (multitasking)
- Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Good relational skills
- Ability to communicate in different languages (Italian, English at least)
SOP Compliance
I recognize it is my responsibility to develop my work and tasks following Marriott's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and hotel's LSOPs in order to comply with them.
EMPLOYEE PROFILE
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: 1 year work experience in HR
Skills and competences: planning and organizing, attention to detail, problem-solving, teamwork, customer service orientation, communication skills.
