What You ‘ll Be Doing

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain automated hardware test systems using LabVIEW.
• Develop LabVIEW applications, test sequences, measurement routines, instrument drivers, and test automation frameworks using reusable and maintainable LabVIEW software architectures and components.
• Integrate LabVIEW applications with NI TestStand and other test automation frameworks where applicable.
• Interface test software with electronic measurement and test instrumentation such as: Digital multimeters (DMMs), Oscilloscopes, Power supplies, Electronic loads, Signal/function generators, Data acquisition (DAQ) systems and other electrical/electronic laboratory equipment.
• Develop or maintain instrument communication interfaces using technologies such as VISA, GPIB, Ethernet, USB, RS-232/485, CAN, or similar interfaces.
• Define and implement test methods, measurement procedures, test limits, and pass/fail criteria.
• Analyze test results and measurement data and support failure investigation and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Electronics, Firmware, Software, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering teams to develop effective test solutions.
• Support the deployment, documentation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production and engineering test systems.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong hands-on experience developing LabVIEW applications for automated testing and measurement.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, including modularity, debugging, version control, error handling, and maintainability.
• Good understanding of electronic and electrical measurements, including voltage, current, resistance, power, frequency, timing, and signal measurements.
• MS Office Suite.
• Good command of English language (oral and written)

Desired

• Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) or Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA) certification.
• Programming experience in C/C++ and/or Python.
• Professional experience with NI TestStand, including test-sequence development and integration with LabVIEW.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
• Experience in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), functional testing, validation, verification, production testing, or automated test equipment (ATE).
• Familiarity with NI-DAQmx, VISA, PXI/PXIe, CompactRIO, or other NI hardware platforms.
• Experience with hardware/software interfaces and communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, SPI, I²C, UART, RS-232/485, Ethernet, or USB.
• Knowledge of electronics troubleshooting, schematic interpretation, and laboratory measurement techniques.
• Ability to mentor/guide mid-scale test development engineering teams and represent the test development engineering team to internal and external stakeholders
