IPS Tutor (Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library) - *MUST be FWS eligible*

Indianapolis Public Schools Tutoring - This position is off-campus.
Students MUST be Federal Work Study (FWS) eligible to APPLY.
As part of an ongoing partnership between Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) and the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library (KVML), qualified college students and professionals can apply for a paid opportunity that will place them as tutors within six IPS academic support centers (Arsenal Tech HS, Crispus Attucks HS, George Washington HS, Shortridge HS, Arlington MS and William Penn MS). Hired tutors will support students with a variety of tasks—from academic research papers to college application essays. Tutors will work primarily with students one-on-one (with supervision/support) and in classroom settings to support teachers and their curriculum.
We are looking for tutors who can support students in all subjects, including STEM. Selected tutors will be required to complete an IPS volunteer background check and to participate in a brief training workshop before work begins.
