Job Summary

To support the Stock Control Manager in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring compliance of inbound and outbound stock, and contributing to the efficient organisation of the warehouse and operations through effective stock control processes in line with the Stock Management Policy.

Key responsibilities

Stock Control

• -
• Unload inbound deliveries and verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery notes
• -
• Conduct compliance checks to ensure correct products are received
• -
• Replenish stock and maintain organised, efficient warehouse layout
• -
• Perform regular and ad hoc stock counts and assist with discrepancy investigations
• -
• Update NetSuite with accurate stock data and assist with adjustments
• -
• Monitor outstanding purchase orders and reconcile discrepancies
• -
• Support QC checks on outbound orders and report any issues
• -
• Assist with returns to suppliers and stock handling processes
• -
• Collaborate with procurement and operations to support stock planning and accuracy
• -
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of accuracy
• -
• Identify recurring issues and escalate to the Stock Control Manager

Health, Safety & Compliance

• -
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
• -
• Handle damaged, obsolete, and returned stock in line with company policy
• -
• Support compliance checks on inbound deliveries and outbound orders to ensure product standards are met

Who You Are

Essential

• -
• Experience in warehouse, stock control or inventory operations
• -
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• -
• Familiarity with WMS or inventory systems (NetSuite experience beneficial)
• -
• Strong organisational skills and ability to follow procedures
• -
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Desirable

• -
• Experience handling technical or trade-related products (e.g., HVAC, solar, electrical)
• -
• Forklift license or experience operating material handling equipment (MHE)
