Quality Assurance Officer for Export

Our Export business supports customers across the Middle East and Africa with animal nutrition products manufactured through a network of Nutreco companies and external production partners. Operating across multiple countries means navigating different regulatory and quality requirements, making quality assurance a critical part of delivering products safely, compliantly and consistently to our customers. As part of the Quality & Regulatory Affairs team, you will work in an international, business-to-business environment where collaboration, attention to detail and continuous improvement help drive success.

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Quality Assurance & Regulatory Manager, you will help ensure our animal nutrition products consistently meet the quality and compliance requirements of the export markets we serve. Working closely with manufacturing partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will support the systems, processes and documentation that enable products to move successfully through the supply chain and into customer markets.

• Coordinate supplier and contract manufacturer audits and support the follow-up of corrective actions.
• Maintain and improve quality documentation, procedures and systems to meet export market requirements.
• Support customer complaint handling, root-cause investigations and quality issue resolution.
• Monitor quality performance and drive follow-up actions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support upcoming quality projects and certification initiatives.

Who we’re looking for

We're looking for someone who enjoys bringing people, processes and information together to achieve a common goal. You have a quality mindset, strong attention to detail and feel comfortable building relationships across teams, cultures and locations. Whether you're already experienced in Quality Assurance or looking to further develop your quality career, you'll be someone who takes ownership, communicates confidently and enjoys working in a dynamic international environment.

• A Bachelor's degree or similar qualification in Quality, Food/Feed Safety, or a related field.
• Initial experience in Quality Assurance, Feed/Food Safety or a similar area.
• An interest in quality systems, audits and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills in English; Dutch, Arabic or French are beneficial.
• Comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders in an international and cross-functional environment.
