Senior Software Engineer (CAPE)

Join Crusoe Energy, a leading company in the clean energy sector. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in architecting, designing, and developing cloud infrastructure management systems and platforms. You will work on end-to-end use cases and workflows for our AI-first Crusoe Cloud, contributing directly to key business revenue metrics. Your expertise will help streamline infrastructure planning and management processes as we scale Crusoe Cloud by 10X and beyond.

• Architect, design, and develop Cloud Infrastructure management systems and platforms, delivering end-to-end use cases and workflows.
• Implement and build platforms, tools, and frameworks with a focus on reliability, scalability, operational efficiency, and ease of use.
• Collaborate extensively across teams to design and implement physical infrastructure management software systems, availability platforms, and frameworks.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• 5+ years of experience building and operating distributed systems at scale
• Proven experience with building reliable, scalable, efficient, and secure cloud platforms and systems and effectively running them in production environments
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to tackle complex infrastructure challenges
• Fluency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Rust, Java, or C++
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• A collaborative mindset when working with development and operations teams to build, maintain, and drive adoption of a robust platform
• A solid understanding of cloud security best practices and the ability to implement secure configurations
• Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters
• A passion for building energy-efficient, scalable AI infrastructure
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Enthusiasm for sustainability and clean energy innovation
