About The Role
Join WHOOP, a leading performance optimization company, as a Senior Manager of Corporate Development. In this role, you will drive the company's inorganic growth strategy through M&A and strategic partnerships. You will work closely with senior executives and leaders across the company to identify and evaluate opportunities that align with WHOOP's mission and long-term strategic priorities. You will lead key aspects of the M&A process, develop and maintain a prioritized pipeline of opportunities, and serve as a subject matter expert on financial analysis and valuation. Additionally, you will prepare clear, decision-oriented materials for senior executives and the Board, play a lead role in transaction negotiations and structuring, and support post-transaction integration planning.

- The ideal candidate will have proven skills in financial modeling, strategic assessment, and M&A due diligence, along with the curiosity and strategic thinking needed to identify important factors that may never fit on a spreadsheet
- This role requires someone who can move fluidly between high-level strategy and detailed transaction execution, develop strong perspectives with imperfect information, and effectively collaborate with senior stakeholders across WHOOP and the broader technology, healthcare, and investment ecosystems
- Strong strategic judgment and the ability to identify the most important qualitative and quantitative factors when evaluating opportunities with incomplete information
- Demonstrated experience evaluating and executing M&A transactions, strategic investments, or similarly complex strategic initiatives
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to distill complex information into clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional workstreams and driving processes forward in fast-moving environments
- Unparalleled work ethic, intensity, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to grow and develop in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the executive presence to effectively engage senior leaders, external executives, investors, advisors, and other stakeholders
- A track record of taking ownership, operating with a high degree of autonomy, and successfully driving negotiations and complex projects to completion
- A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to identify what needs to be done, take initiative, and drive work forward with limited oversight, combined with a team-first, positive mindset and willingness to contribute wherever needed
- 7+ years of relevant experience across corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or related roles, with meaningful transaction experience
- Experience in healthcare, consumer subscriptions, technology, or adjacent industries is preferred
- MBA preferred
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end M&A process, including sourcing, diligence, valuation, transaction structuring, negotiation, closing, and integration planning
- Deep expertise in financial modeling, valuation, unit economics, LTV modeling, and investment/business case development
