<p>VML is seeking a highly motivated Manager, Marketing Effectiveness & Intelligence (ME&I) to support measurement, reporting, and optimization initiatives for a key client account. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, marketing, and business strategy.</p>
<p>We're looking for a collaborative problem solver who can transform data into actionable insights, bring together cross-functional teams, and help clients make smarter marketing decisions. You will serve as a trusted partner to internal teams and client stakeholders, driving measurement strategies, reporting solutions, and performance optimization opportunities across paid media, owned channels, and digital experiences.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate has strong experience with marketing analytics, dashboarding, website analytics, and data storytelling, and is comfortable working with both technical teams and business stakeholders.</p>

<h1><strong>What You Will Do</strong></h1>
<h3><strong>Measurement Strategy & Analytics</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Partner with clients and internal teams to define measurement frameworks, KPIs, and reporting requirements.</li>
<li>Serve as a strategic analytics lead across marketing, media, website, and customer experience initiatives.</li>
<li>Translate business questions into analytical approaches that deliver actionable insights and recommendations.</li>
<li>Support Test & Learn initiatives, including hypothesis development, test design, and performance evaluation.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Reporting, Dashboards & Insights</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead development and ongoing enhancement of reporting solutions, scorecards, and dashboards.</li>
<li>Gather business requirements and partner with visualization and engineering teams to build scalable reporting capabilities.</li>
<li>Analyze campaign, website, and customer behavior data to identify trends, opportunities, and optimization recommendations.</li>
<li>Translate complex datasets into clear, compelling stories for clients and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Data Quality & Measurement Operations</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Partner with data engineering, media, and platform teams to support data integrations, reporting automation, and measurement initiatives.</li>
<li>Monitor data quality and identify tracking issues, taxonomy inconsistencies, and reporting anomalies.</li>
<li>Help ensure campaigns launch with proper measurement frameworks, tagging standards, and reporting readiness.</li>
<li>Support vendor integrations, platform governance, and ongoing measurement best practices.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Cross-Functional Leadership</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Act as a connector across client, media, analytics, technology, and operations teams to ensure alignment and execution.</li>
<li>Manage multiple workstreams and priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality and accuracy.</li>
<li>Promote knowledge sharing and analytics best practices across the organization.</li>
</ul>
<h1><strong>What Your Prior Experience Consists Of</strong></h1>
<ul>
<li>Experience analyzing marketing and media performance data to inform business decisions.</li>
<li>Experience working with data engineers, reporting teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of digital marketing measurement and customer behavior analytics.</li>
<li>Experience building or supporting data visualization and dashboarding solutions.</li>
<li>Ability to derive meaningful insights and business recommendations from large datasets.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills with client-facing experience.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and disciplines.</li>
</ul>
<h1><strong>What It Takes</strong></h1>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.</li>
<li><strong>5-8 years of experience</strong> in marketing analytics, measurement, digital analytics, business intelligence, or a related discipline.</li>
<li>Experience with data visualization platforms such as <strong>Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio</strong>.</li>
<li>Experience partnering with data engineering teams on reporting, automation, or data integration initiatives.</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.</li>
<li>Experience with digital analytics platforms, including <strong>Adobe Analytics (preferred)</strong> and/or Google Analytics.</li>
<li>Familiarity with CM360, DV360, ad serving technologies, and digital media measurement.</li>
<li>Experience developing recurring performance reports, executive scorecards, and dashboard solutions.</li>
<li>Understanding of data governance, taxonomy management, and data quality best practices.</li>
<li>Experience supporting website analytics and customer journey measurement.</li>
<li>Experience with testing methodologies, A/B testing, or Test & Learn programs is a plus.</li>
