Job Vacancy: Funding Executive

By joining the team as Funding Executive, you will assist in the management and execution of MCB's fundraising projects on an end-to-end basis, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to support the development and implementation of the Bank's debt and capital issuance and funding strategy.

In this role you will

• Assist in the management and end-to-end execution of MCB fund and capital raising projects, monitoring and tracking progress across all stages of the project plan, while participating in the setting up and coordination of a dedicated Deal Team with internal stakeholders using a RACI or other conducive tools to ensure smooth running of the project;
• Participate in the definition of technical requirements and documentation, provide inputs to the funding strategy (e.g., structure, terms, pricing), and follow up on the preparation and distribution of required documentation throughout the process;
• Work closely with key internal and external stakeholders for required inputs, consultation and support, ensuring congruence of technical content presented or disclosed in documentation, presentations and outreach events, while acting as the central point for all documentation and communication on the project;
• Facilitate coordination with internal stakeholders, including executives, across all stages of the fundraising project, and monitor smooth engagement with external parties involved in or appointed for the project;
• Assist in developing and monitoring the implementation of the debt /capital issuance strategy, including debt structure, pricing, terms and market timing, and report on project progress while devising and implementing recommendations to improve execution;
• Coordinate engagement with debt investors, including through deal and non-deal roadshows and investor queries, and assist in developing business relationships with international banks, Asset ManagersDevelopment Finance Institutions and other financial institutions;
• Assist in maintaining access to various wholesale funding sources from which the Bank can raise funds when necessary, and coordinate post-fundraising activities.

We are looking for candidates who have

EITHER

• A Bachelor’s degree in either Finance, Banking, Economics, Accounting, or any related field;
• 3 years’ of working experience in treasury, corporate finance, debt capital markets, investment banking within Banking or Financial Services;

OR

• A Diploma in either Finance, Banking, Economics, Accounting, or any related field;
• 5 years’ of working experience in treasury, corporate finance, debt capital markets, investment banking within Banking or Financial Services.
