About the role

We are seeking a passionate Breakfast Chef to join our team at the Hilton Garden Inn Albany. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a delicious breakfast buffet to our hotel guests. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

• Prepare and cook a variety of hot and cold breakfast items for the hotel's buffet, ensuring consistently high quality presentation and taste
• Manage the cooked-to-order egg station, preparing eggs in various styles based on guest preferences
• Restock and replenish the buffet throughout service to maintain full and well-presented offerings
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
• Collaborate with the wider hotel team to provide an exceptional guest experience
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a chef or cook, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
• Passion for providing high-quality food and excellent customer service
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations
