Event Server

Be a part of a spectacular event! As an Event Server with Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel you will create a special event that our Guests will remember. Your ability to work as a team player combined with your service skills and your engaging personality will ensure that our Guests have a memorable experience. Starting Rate: $17.22 per hour We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $18.22 Job Duties Include: Provide exceptional service to all Guests in a variety of settings including plated and buffet banquets for breakfast, lunch and dinner, working lunches, coffee breaks, cocktail receptions, formal events, and off-site catering events. Set event spaces according to Banquet Event Orders, client specifications and service standards. And tear down and clean up following banquet functions. Offer a high level of product knowledge and follow up on all Guest inquiries. Other duties as assigned

Your Skills & Qualifications: Must have Pro-Serve Certification. 2 years previous serving experience preferred. Bartending, cash handling and previous Silverware point of sale system experience is an asset. Schedule flexibility, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, etc. for 3-12 hour shifts. Must be able to lift and carry up to 20lbs and be able to be on your feet for 8 hours or more
