Supervisor - Production

The Supervisor – Production will oversee the crown‑capping line, ensuring machines run smoothly, quality standards are met, and safety protocols are followed. This role coordinates with maintenance, quality, and production teams to achieve daily output targets while minimizing waste and downtime.

• Set up, start up, and safely operate crown‑capping machine and auxiliary equipment to meet production targets.
• Execute routine, preventative, and autonomous maintenance per OEM manuals.
• Perform in‑line quality inspections of crowned bottles to ensure seal integrity.
• Monitor and minimize material rejection rates (crown waste, damaged caps).
• Record shift output, downtime, and rejection data accurately in logbooks.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and alignment faults during runs.
• Maintain 5S standards and enforce safety protocols at the operating station.
• Lead a team of operators, providing guidance and on‑the‑job training.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve major equipment failures.
• Prepare and submit daily production reports to the Production Manager.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating crown‑capping or similar packaging machinery in FMCG.
• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of OEM maintenance procedures and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Proficiency in data logging and basic computer applications (MS Excel).
• Good understanding of 5S, HACCP, and occupational safety standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and team‑leadership abilities.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and overtime as required.
