Re18 is getting closer to fulfilling its mission & we are seeking a skilled, determined and hands-on Security Engineer to join our Engineering team.
Your responsibilities will include

• Design and maintain security controls for applications, infrastructure and cloud environments
• Process, prioritize and follow up on security assessment reports, coordinating with relevant stakeholders for remediation
• Implement and manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF), network segmentation and device security controls
• Suggest and setup security monitoring, detection and alerting systems
• Conduct and support security incident investigations, log analysis and root cause evaluations
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into all phases of development and operations
• Support compliance initiatives and assist in maintaining standards like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA
• Other tasks as assigned

What you will need

• 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering roles
• Hands-on experience in securing web applications, operating systems, and networks
• Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, and cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and secure architecture principles
• Be able to apply all your recommendations, findings and security mitigations yourself with technical hands on experience. Not just as a consultant.
• Experience with endpoint protection platforms is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English and Greek, both written and verbal
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
