OPERATOR FORKLIFT - grade 2

• SUMMARY: The purpose of a Forklift Operator is to move pallets of meat throughout the plant, shipping and/or warehouse.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following

• Responsible for reading customer’s orders.
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness and pest control and document results on the load accountability form.
• Prepare the orders and load them onto the correct trailer using a Forklift.
• Wand/scan product correctly.
• Keep loading dock clean.
• Employee is also responsible for using proper technique and any other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
• EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Required
• Forklift training certificate
• Preferred
• None
