C & I Project Delivery Manager

The Role

• The Project Delivery Manager will take ownership of customer projects following receipt of a purchase order, managing all post-order activities through to successful delivery.
• Acting as the primary point of contact between the customer, sales team, factory, suppliers and logistics providers, the Project Manager will coordinate design
• development, project planning, scheduling and delivery activities. This role will ensure
• projects are delivered on time, within scope and to customer requirements, allowing the sales team to remain focused on business development and order conversion.

Key responsibilities include

• Attend project handover meetings with Sales following receipt of customer purchase orders.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, schedules and key milestones.
• Coordinate all project activities from order receipt through to delivery.
• Act as the primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage design reviews, technical approvals and communication between customers and manufacturing teams.
• Coordinate factory activities, supplier inputs and logistics arrangements to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions where required.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation, action logs and change requests.

What You’ll Bring Skills & Experience Essential

• Project management experience within engineering, manufacturing, power generation or a similar technical industry.
• Strong organisational, planning and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing project schedules.
• Customer-facing experience and ability to manage relationships effectively.

Desirable

• Experience with bespoke engineered products.
• Knowledge of generator, power generation or industrial equipment sectors.
• Project management qualification (PRINCE2, APM, PMP or equivalent).
