Technical & Reporting Accountant Manager

As a Technical & Reporting Accountant/Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting for our global operations. You will lead SEC filings, support the consolidation process, and maintain robust accounting policies and internal controls. • Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual filings in accordance with SEC requirements, and assist with the full monthly global consolidation process.
• Draft and update technical accounting memos covering policies, procedures, and positions for a range of topics, including implementation and compliance with new accounting standards.
• Manage deliverables for annual audit and quarterly reviews with external auditors, and support ad hoc projects as necessary.

• Experience with SOX 404 and internal controls over financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP
• Capable of working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities
• Ability to learn and understand financial accounting systems/software
• 4-6 years of experience in public accounting serving publicly traded clients or a mix of public accounting and public company work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA candidate preferred
• Project management including consistently establishing and meeting timelines
• Experience with Workiva, Shareworks is a plus
• Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry experience preferred
