Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

• Two (2) years experience in assessment and treatment of Spinal Patients
• Two (2) years’ exp in assessment and treatment of Spinal or Orthopedic patients

Education

• Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy

Other Education and Training

• Current CPR Level C
• Level 3 Cert. in Advances Orthopedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy

• Knowledge and understanding of the Four Patterns of Low Back Pain

• Ability to employ biopsychosocial approach in provisional care to patients
• Flexible and adaptive approach to treatment of complex spinal patients
• Communicates effectively with patients, families and other health professionals
• Good working knowledge of the continuum of Spinal Care
• Knowledge of community resources
• Knowledge of the mechanisms of osteoarthritis and evidence-based treatments
• Ability to plan, organize/coordinate efforts with other team members
• Requires coping skills to work w/clients dealing with stress/psychosocial issues
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others as required
• ability to communicate effectively with staff, physicians, families.
