Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Technical Writer, Archaeology to join our growing archaeology team. This role will support a diverse range of projects across multiple service lines throughout British Columbia, with the potential to transition to a permanent, full-time position in the future. The successful candidate can be based at any of our Stantec office locations across British Columbia.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Preparing regulatory deliverables including site forms, interim and final reporting
• Managing digitally and manually collected field data
• Actively participating in Stantec’s HSSE programs

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Self-motivated, has excellent technical writing skills
• Experience in Cultural Resource Management, specifically reporting, an asset
• Dedicated to following and promoting a strong safety culture
• Desire to work closely with other environmental professionals and First Nations
• Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation

Education and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology or Archaeology is required.

Minimum 1 year of archaeological experience including the production of regulatory deliverables.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
