About the Role

The Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional wellness experiences while maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality and professionalism. This position provides customized massage, body, and wellness treatments, ensures guest comfort and satisfaction, promotes spa products and services, and supports the day-to-day operations of the award-winning Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia.

What You Will Do

• Deliver personalized massage and body treatments in accordance with Four Seasons standards and treatment protocols.
• -
• Perform Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, body scrubs, wraps, and other wellness services offered by the spa.
• -
• Create a welcoming, relaxing, and professional environment throughout each guest interaction.
• -
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, linens, equipment, and supplies to ensure cleanliness and readiness.
• -
• Follow all sanitation, hygiene, safety, and licensing requirements.
• -
• Recommend products and services that enhance the guest's wellness journey and actively support spa retail initiatives.
• -
• Assist guests with information about spa services, facilities, hotel amenities, and wellness offerings.
• -
• Support spa operations through inventory management, appointment preparation, and collaboration with Spa Reception and Spa Attendants.
• -
• Participate in ongoing training, product education, and service development programs.
• -
• Ensure all guest concerns are handled promptly, professionally, and in alignment with Four Seasons service standards.

What You Bring

• -
• Current Pennsylvania Massage Therapy License required.
• -
• Minimum two years of experience in a luxury spa, resort, wellness center, or hotel environment preferred.
• -
• Proficiency in Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage required; additional wellness modalities highly desirable.
• -
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• -
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• -
• Excellent guest service and hospitality skills.
• -
• Knowledge of Book4Time or similar spa management software preferred.
• -
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• -
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding work associated with massage and body treatments.
