Language Expert for Mandarin Chinese

We're looking for skilled and meticulous language experts for Mandarin Chinese. This is a remote, freelance position, perfect for individuals seeking flexible work opportunities.
This project is expected to last for 8-9 months with part-time engagement (a few hours a week).

Responsibilities:

• Review transcribed data to ensure high levels of accuracy, grammar, and punctuation.
• Consult technical teams on the linguistic patterns found in the data.
• Assist in developing transcription guidelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation Studies, or other language-related fields.
• Native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese or formal specialization in this language (e.g., a BA in Mandarin Chinese).
• Attention to detail.
• Proficiency with transcription software and tools is a plus.
• Experience with ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition), NLU (Natural Language Understanding), or NLP (Natural Language Processing) is a plus.
