TT QA Tech III

Insure truck tire testing is scheduled, monitored, shipped, and reports are issued. Analyze Truck Tire sections as required for QA Surveillance Testing.

• CTD Excellence, interface with local PI, local PE, Central QM.
• Monitor QA surveillance test results.
• Participate in 02I warranty return meetings.
• Maintain calibration and working condition of equipment.
• Interface with Corporate Tire Technology, and Engineering on test related issues.
• Perform other duties as directed by the QA Manager.
• Analyze new tire startup cut tire sections .
• Analyze anomalous tire sections to determine root cause of scrap IV as requested.
• Audit QA Warehouse holds including trailer lock out tags.
• Lead customer satisfaction initiatives (tire sort) in local and external warehouse or customer location.
• Perform the duties of QA Tire Cutter, QA Grader as a backup to these positions as requested.
• Maintain storage and retention of all cut tire sections as per QMD requirements.
• Data reporting and other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
• Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Associate's degree

• The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. Majority of work completed in a high heat environment.
• The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.

• The starting annual salary for this role is $64,613 a year.
