About The Role

Duration: 6 months (Temp to Perm)

Responsible for software testing, including requirements analysis, test preparation, execution, results analysis, and defect reporting.

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. 10+ years of experience required.

Verbal and written communication skills, analytical thinking and problem solving ability.
Ability to work independently, follow procedure steps, and document defects.
Ability to maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers. Ability to meet short and long term deadlines.
Ability to work with, mentor, and lead other test resources.
Ability to lead complete testing projects, contribute to the development of testing tools, and acquire significant domain knowledge.
Knowledge of different test methodologies, tools, and practices. Knowledge of software automation to include scripting , debugging, execution, and analysis.
Experience with dynamic software/electro-mechanical systems.
Build, test, and deploy supporting test systems.
Knowledge of HVAC, building control systems and devices a plus. Understanding of object oriented and component based product development.
Ability to think "outside of the box" to offer creative solutions to problems.

Management (perhaps as a PM), Agile teams (Scrum Master?), work with offshore teams, JIRA for task management, MS Office applications, MS Project. Test certification (such as CQA, CSTE, CSTP, CSQE) is a definite plus.
