Technician Hearing Screening

Under the direction of the coordinator of audiology and staff audiologists, perform otoacoustic emissions and automated auditory brainstem response tests without supervision. The hearing screenings will take place in the well-baby nursery, the intermediate nursery and the neonatal intensive care nursery. In addition to the administration of the tests all paperwork and database entry related to the newborn screening program will be performed, and equipment and supplies will be cleaned and maintained.
Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and must be pursuing a college degree in a Health-related field.
