About The Role
The Senior Director, Managing Director – Country serves as the senior‑most executive responsible for leading all business operations within a designated country, ensuring full alignment with subregional and corporate strategies. The role defines and executes country‑specific strategic plans, drives operational performance, and ensures achievement of financial, customer, and regulatory objectives. This position requires close collaboration with subregional and corporate leadership to ensure strategic consistency, operational excellence, and compliance with financial frameworks. The Managing Director represents the company at the country level in all commercial, contractual, and governmental engagements, while fostering a culture of digital trust, innovation, and strong customer relationships. The role carries significant P&L accountability and plays a central part in shaping the company’s reputation and growth trajectory within the country.
The Senior Director, Managing Director – Country is responsible for overseeing all country‑level operations, ensuring the delivery of financial performance, revenue growth, and strategic execution. The role leads cross‑functional teams to implement corporate initiatives, optimize operational processes, and maintain a unified approach across commercial, operational, legal, financial, and regulatory activities. The Managing Director builds and maintains strong external relationships with customers, partners, vendors, and local authorities, acting as the company’s senior representative in the market. Additionally, the role drives strategic planning, annual budgeting, and forecasting efforts for the country, ensuring alignment with subregional goals and corporate expectations. The MD champions a high‑performance culture rooted in accountability, customer focus, risk management, and continuous improvement, ensuring the organization’s long‑term success in the country.
12-18 Years of experience in large-scale organizational change efforts,
Strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies,
Change management certification or designation (desired),
Acute business acumen and organizational awareness,
Familiarity with project management approaches and lifecycle phases,
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills,
Strategic planning and problem-solving abilities.
